The boy who tuned out of reality |

I’m unsure of what you desire.
You who were lured into this wilderness, By a sad title, for the sake of a smug smile. Is that not what you came to steal? Did you then come to find a kindred soul? One lost in a realm similar to yours. I offer none of the above, Keep your absorbent minds to your own. These words are barren of inspiration. Read on and expect that which you didn’t. The thread which spins itself into your existence, Is thinner than you fathom, or acknowledge at least. You boast the vastness of the game, To justify your role as a pawn. You put yourself to sleep at night, By dreaming of the ends, Only to avoid the nightmares of the means. You tremble as you grasp those hands for support, The ones you twisted to hurt and induce fear. You create your white lies, To blanket the bodies you’ve hidden. You justify your genocide, With an accepted vernacular: collateral damage. You promote your equality, Only to highlight the diversity. You’ll kill a few for the greater good. Just a few. You heard my words of accusations. Now hear some of wisdom. Search for the truth knowing this: The sad write of sadism, The sadists write of sadness. The above mentioned boy, You read what he has penned, You stare at my words, my face. I am tuned out of reality. The question is where are you? |
